“Casting on is the beginning of our project and we want a clean edge to start on the right foot. We will cast on 120 stitches. We will use the long tail cast on as explained in unit 2. Using your size 6 knitting needle, your smaller knitting needle, you are going to start casting on. We use the smaller needle because when you do ribbing you want that to be a little tighter than the color work. So let me show you an example again of how to cast on.
